NYC ATWC

The New York City Audio Theater Writing Contest is pioneering a new direction in the performing arts.

We want this art form to inspire playwrights to create without boundaries of the physical stage and production costs, and welcome an even wider audience with stories that feature fresh voices, big characters, and even bigger imaginations.

2019 Panelists

The New York City Audio Theater Contest is an independent production created and funded by Jason Hewett.

The primary goal of the contest is to develop a new platform for storytellers and audiences who struggle to connect with mainstream and classical theater. We want to achieve that by finding engaging and fresh stories.
